2002 BMW

I have owned this car for 7 years. I have spent the money when needed, its been well looked after and cherished. It has not been thrashed or modified save for the rear lights (switched to LED and I still had the originals). It was originally delivered and collected in Germany (perhaps a British army/RAF owner) and the first service done there, after that its been BMW main dealer and independents. It is not classed as an import on HPI and it's never been an issue getting recalls done at BMW. It's in very good condition (no dents or rust), but its not "immaculate" (is any 15 year old car?). It has a couple of small marks on rear bumper and the drivers mirror has flaked a bit where it attaches to the car but it's not rusty. All of this factored into the low price for such a low mileage car in this condition.

Low mileage for the year, backed up by MOTs, lots of invoices including recent expenditure on a new starter motor, coil pack and all plugs at a specialist (Prestige Performance in St Albans). Sunroof, 6 CD changer, rear parking sensors, folding mirrors. It does not have SATNAV or heated seats. Air con works well. 2 keys, all manuals, full history file with all invoices, all tools and spare wheel.

Boot floor checked recently and confirmed fine (paperwork to back that up). All recalls done including airbags. No known VANOS issues or SMG issues. Videos available to show idle and gear select.

Wheels very good (only one small mark - not all kerbed) with nearly new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. (not cheap rubbish).

Interior very nice, age related marks and some wear to drivers bolster but overall very good. Recent recovering of steering wheel by Royal Steering Wheels in original leather with M stitching.

At the right price I will include a refurbished SMG pump (worth £750+ for peace of mind) and a set of spare 18" OEM wheels with ContiSport Contact Tyres (wheels need refurb and tyres are old).

Car was looked over thoroughly by a dealer at the weekend who offered a good price on the car and agreed it was a very nice example - took it out and drove it and came back happy. Sadly the car I was looking at was not the right one for me so this is still for sale.

Very well sorted car, enthusiast owned. Open to sensible offers from genuine buyers. Full year MOT will be provided.
