Beautiful car, I purchased it in January 2018 as a fresh import. The car is extremely clean bodywork wise and underneath! I really can't find a mark on the bodywork. The underside is currently not undersealed so you can see for yourself exactly how clean it is! I have had the car up on the ramp (with pics). My plan was to have the car undersealed however I feel leaving it untouched gives a true reflection of how clean this car is with no hidden surprises!
The car itself has been very well looked after. I have two original keys, service books, documents and handbooks etc! There are lots of service stickers dotted around the car which leaves me to believe it has been fully serviced and well cared for. The services lead right up to when it was exported to me.
The engine is very strong with no smoke or any strange noises, knocks or bangs. I have had the car fully inspected to see if anything needs attention and it is all very good, along with a nice clean MOT and no advisories. Gearbox is also very good with no crunches or suspicious sounds, certainly no “it’s fine when warmed up” excuses! Every gear works perfectly hot or cold…
The car comes fitted with Rays RE30 alloys which I have seen selling for £1400+ on eBay. I'm sure if you're looking at this car you know what you're looking at... they are in very good condition apart from one of the rears has taken a small knock from a pothole or something on the outer edge. Not very noticeable but I like to be honest! Could easily be fixed or you could find some standard alloys easily enough (£350). They come wrapped with Toyo Tires which were new upon import.
The only other modification to the car is Cusco front and rear sway bars which came on the car when imported. I’m not really sure if they make much benefit to what is already a very stiff and capable car but they are a nice addition to the engine bay and boot without being obstructive in any way.
The car did have an aftermarket exhaust however this has been removed and the standard exhaust replaced. I will be updating the pictures in due course however I have barely used the car with the recent spell of bad weather! I appreciate exhausts are a rather personal item so selling this separately alloys the buyer to change this if they wish. I have also reduced the price accordingly.
I have also added a set of Honda Genuine Wind Deflectors. These are not on the car yet, again, due to the weather but are included with original clips.
The interior of the car is superb. It is a Grade “B” interior so no major marks, scratches or tears. The seat bolsters are VERY good. I gave the seats a very good clean using alcantara cleaner and they have come up superbly. There is an aftermarket headunit fitted so the wiring should be there to replace easy enough with a UK version, it also has a GPS Aerial so will be an easy swap if you are using one with Sat Nav.
There aren’t any major bad points with the car, obviously the one wheel could do with a refurb but otherwise very clean. The headlights are a little hazy however this may polish out with a little elbow grease! The only other small point is it is missing the floor mats, they can be found on Japanese Auctions and imported easily or you can use the Honda Hybrid black carpets which are £58. Not a big issue.
My plan was to keep it a long time however after a few months I am afraid it's not for me. It had a lot to live up to after a C63 but I am missing a few refinements. I don't want to spend more time trying to make it something it will never be so would rather pass it onto to someone who will appreciate it and take the hit myself. It was worth a go!
The car is well priced, it was originally listed for £14,000 and consequently reduced to £13,750. I have now removed the aftermarket exhaust system as it's not to everyone taste and further reduced it to £13,500. The car is good to go and I would like to move on sooner rather than later.
Any further questions I would be happy to answer. I am more than happy to collect from the local airport (Exeter) or train stations.
