1970 Porsche

Launched in 1970 the Porsche 914 was a joint venture between Porsche and Volkswagen to replace VW Karmann Ghia and Porsche 912. Originally a flat 4 cylinder 1.7ltr with fuel injection and a 5 speed gearbox driving the rear wheels, the car was produced until 1976 then replaced by the 924. Accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this very early 1970 Porsche 914 Roadster was finished in highly striking Canary Yellow (Code 29) paint over black leatherette (Code 11) upholstery, the colours it continues to feature today. It was owned and enjoyed by a physician over some 40 years. With only limited mileage since it was professionally restored.
