VOLVO S/V40 SERIES T4 V40 2000

This is going to sound a but odd but I’m selling my Panama Volvo V40 T4 because... she’s too good!

Phase 1.5 Xi with genuine 85k miles. 3 owners from new. A very well cared for, rare, original example. Recent documented servicing records including cam-belt at 63k (2014). Just had new tyres on the front. Virtually full MOT (check out the MOT history!).

Drives like she’s barely 3 years old yet she’s just turned 20. I refrain from using words like ‘mint’ or ‘perfect’ as any car that’s seen almost 20 years of service won’t be.

Bad points;

Door locking on drivers door odd (shows locked but isn’t). Chances are I’ll have this fixed before I sell her.

She has had some cosmetic paint work over the years and being yellow it’s not a 100% match in places (I’m being critical here in order to correctly set expectations).

I honestly believe you would be hard pushed to find another example like this. To find a low mileage, unmolested example is hard enough but I would imagine you will not find another Panama Yellow V40 T4 for sale in Europe, let alone in the UK.

If I didn’t already have four classic cars in dry storage I would be tucking her away. I have access to two other cars at present. If I use the V40 T4 it will be very infrequent, will be for running dogs/children/horse stuff around and she deserves so much better ie someone who appreciates what she is and can give her a really good home.

If you’re not familiar with the Volvo T4 model I’d recommend you do your research. Bullet proof with 200bhp out of the box. Genuine sleeper car.
