2004 Renault

Clio 172 Cup, Iceberg Silver, 100,500 miles, Registered 01/03/2004, 12 months Mot with no advisories, Fantastic condition.

The following work has been completed on the car in the last two years:

26/02/2016 at 80,011 miles - Cambelt, dephaser pulley, aux belt, water pump, oil and filter, Type D coolant. Completed by Diamond motors Renaultsport specialist with receipt.

10/03/2016 – New genuine Cup front dampers, Top mount kit and updated spacer. New Cooksport springs. Completed by Diamond motors Renaultsport specialist with receipt.

30/04/2016 – Steering rack inner tie rods, bottom ball joints, NSF and OSF track rod ends and gearbox oil change. Completed by Diamond motors Renaultsport specialist with receipt.

05/07/2016 – Oil and filter change. Completed by Diamond motors Renaultsport specialist with receipt.

26/08/2016 – Genuine Brembo discs and pads all round. Brake caliper refresh. Goodridge braided brake lines all round. New brake fluid.

In addition to the above the following has been completed:

Powder coated black inlet manifold, engine mount, throttle body and fuel rail protector

Stainless bolts to replace many in engine bay

K and N replacement panel filter

Turini wheels refurbished silver and fitted with Pilot Sport 3 tyres all round (Over 6mm tread on each tyre)

Snappy custom refurbished steering wheel

Silver vision indicator bulbs all round

New headlights

New genuine Renault floor mats

Good condition genuine Cup front splitter

New genuine Renault wheel arch liners

Wheel bearings all round

New coolant bottle

New Febi standard engine and gearbox mounts

Several oil and filter changes!

All door stripes, side skirts and spoilers have been removed to be cleaned and checked for rust and all is solid(Please see picture).

This is one of the very last registered Clio 172 Cups and very rare in iceberg silver. I have only seen one other on a 04 registration plate. I have owned several of these and this is by far the best. The full suspension refresh with the Cooksport springs means it drives as it did from the factory.

Bodywork in excellent condition. Only real thing of note is a cut out in the rear bumper, where I did intend to fit a slash cut stainless exhaust system, but decided to leave standard(I do still have the stainless system). Couple of marks on the wheels and some of the lacquer has started to peel away for some reason. No evidence of the car ever being used on track and I have traced the owners of the car back on cliosport to 2013.

Interior I would describe as almost immaculate condition. I have replaced the usual melted steering wheel with a Snappy retrimmed one and the door pulls with hard plastic ones.

All manuals, one key, most recent history, V5 in my name, HPI clear with certificate. Unfortunately there is not much early history and I suspect the service book was lost. However it is quite clear the car has been very well looked after. A small fortune has been spent on it over the last couple of years by the previous owner and myself. All the major maintenance has been completed with receipts to support this.

I suspect I will probably regret selling this car and ones this good are becoming very hard to find. My only reason for sale is due to being lucky enough to purchase a Renaultsport Megane RS 250, which is now my daily runner. I have been using the Cup, but it is wasted sat on my drive for most of the time and decided it is time to find it a new home.
