โข Rare Japanese Sports Coupe finished in Pearl Blue
๐ข๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐
The land of the rising sun has been responsible for creating some of the finest sports cars of all time. One such game changer that took the fight to the Europeans and the Americans was the Datsun 240Z. Unveiled by Nissan in 1969 and called the Fairlady Z in its homeland of Japan, the stunning Z car borrowed design cues from its western rivals to great success. Sales took off, especially in the lucrative US market and helped Nissan build an enviable legacy for both reliable, practical and stylish motoring.
Fast forward to 2008 and Nissan unveiled its latest iteration of its all important sports coupe, the Nissan 370Z. The 6th generation Fairly Z, code named Z34, succeeded the Z33 350Z and offered more power and a host of other refinements.
The 24V all aluminium V6 displacement grew to 3.7 litres, with peak power of 323BHP at a suitably high 7,000 rpm. All that power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual gearbox or the optional 7 speed automatic gearbox.
The example on sale here with PistonHeads is 2016 Nissan 370Z that has covered just 44,770 miles and had just 2 owners from new.

This Nissan 370Z was first registered on the 17th October 2016 and was sold new by Motorline Nissan Oxford.
This rare sports car has had just 2 owners from new, with the current owner acquiring the 370Z in October 2019. Its MOT history shows that the 370Z had covered 15,060 miles by the 2nd September 2019, with the current owner adding just under 30,000 miles in the past 5 years.
The car comes with the Nissan Owners Book Pack and is supplied with 2 keys.
The 370Z also has a valid MOT Certificate until the 29th July 2024 with no advisories, which is fantastic peace of mind for the new owner.
Below is a list of the services carried out on the car:

The interior of the 370Z is finished in black with contrasting white stitching on the dashboard and door cards which is a nice touch. Taking pride of place is the multifunction Z sports steering wheel, with centre dash mounted clock, amp and oil pressure gauges angled towards the driver.
The seats are finished in black leather with perforated alcantara centres. They present in nice shape with some minor marks and scuffs present, which are shown in the photos. The front seats are electric and heated and they move forward and back as they should.
As one would expect for a top of the line sports coupe, the 370Z is packed with technology that stacks up very well today. These include Satellite Navigation, Bluetooth and Phone Integration and a Bose sound system which the owner states is very good indeed. Other refinements include Cruise Control and Airconditioning.
The boot area is in clean condition and the load cover retracts as it should. And underneath the removable carpet and floor cover resides the Bose amplifier system.

Pearl Blue is a colour that really suits the lines of the 370Z, with contrasts really well with the grey alloy wheels. The paint itself is in good condition all round with a lovely shine.
There are some small blemishes here and there, with some stone chips on the bonnet which are shown in the photos. A small scratch is noted on the bonnet close to the drivers side headlight and there is a very small area of lacquer peal on the top left edge of the front bumper. These blemishes are relatively small and could easily be address by a competent bodyshop/detailer.
The forged alloy wheels, which are offset by red calipers, look really smart in grey and they present in clean condition. There are some small areas of kerb rash and some bubbling to the paint which are shown in the photos. A refurbishment would have them looking as good as new.
This rare 370Z looks great from all angles, though we have to say the rear is the best view, with the squat posterior and wide rear tyres giving it a mean and purposeful look.

Under the bonnet resides the naturally aspirated 3.7 litre V6 engine. The engine bay presents in clean condition and looks to be all original and unmolested. It is nice to see a strut brace installed from the factory, which shows that Nissanโs engineers were focused on improving the handling from the get go.
The current owner confirms that the Nissan 370Z drives really well and states that it has been very reliable during their custodianship. They add that the automatic gearbox makes it a great all round driver, especially around town. They go on to add that it has plenty of power when needed and that the V6 note from the twin exhausts is delightful.

The Nissan 370Z is a rare beast indeed on UK roads, making it a very unique sports cars and an ideal acquisition for the driver who wants something a bit different. This 2016 example boasts low miles, owners, full service history and looks great in metallic blue. With 323BHP available from the awesome sounding V6, this Nissan 370Z is a true two seat sports car that awaits new adventures with its new owner.
