If you like both BMW M3s and V8 engines, then this is the car for you. The E90 series is the only generation of M3 to be powered by a V8 as standard, with all others since 1992 being fitted with a straight-six.

This E92 two-door coupe has a tasty 414 bhp lying under the bonnet, ready to be deployed to the rear wheels via a proper six-speed manual transmission, so it’s just waiting to liven up even the most unremarkable of journeys with a twitch of your right foot.

• The seat upholstery is in very good condition

• There is some wear in the driver’s footwell

• Dark grey metallic paint is a very suave colour choice
• Carbon fibre roof panel lowers the centre of gravity
• In Oct 2023, the front bumper was repaired and fully repainted to fix some scuffs and scratches
• Some light scratching to the rear bumper

• There is some fading to some of the badges to the rear and on the wheels, as well as the wing mirror casings

• Three tyres were replaced in Nov 2022 with Michelin Pilot Super Sports and the seller reports that all four tyres have similar levels of wear
• Indeed, at the service in Oct 2023 the tyre tread was all measured to be within 5-7mm
• The underside is said to be in good condition, with some surface corrosion, as is to be expected on a car of this age and mileage
