Overview

It’s a crying shame that Subaru stopped selling the WRX in the UK. Surely such a distinctive, distinguished, rally-proven car deserves to be let loose on the leafy country lanes of Britain. But luckily for the seller of this particular car, they spent a few years living in Dubai, where you could still purchase a brand new WRX without any difficulty.

So this particular car spent its first couple of years living in the bone-dry Emirate of Dubai, before its owner moved back home to Scotland. But they understandably didn’t want to be without their desirable Subaru, so decided to ship it home with them.

Registered in the UK in January 2022, this WRX has seen very few miles added to its odometer, thanks to being the owner’s second car. It has been professionally ceramic coated and the underside has been cleaned and undersealed. So you can tell it’s been looked after.

The well appointed interior is in superb, original condition, with very few signs of use throughout. So it’s a very pleasant place to be as you explore the car’s various driving modes. The CVT automatic transmission can be controlled by paddle shifters if you want to take the reins yourself, otherwise you can let it do its thing, varying constantly to keep the engine working at the optimum rate.

So if you feel like you’ve been missing out since Subaru denied us the pleasure of purchasing the WRX in the UK, then this car offers an answer to all your hopes and dreams.
