Overview
While clearly taking inspiration from the Lotus Seven, Westfield had to make a few changes to differentiate themselves from what the guys that bought the tooling were offering and so it's categorically not the same as the output from a certain other manufacturer, oh no.
But while Westfield you see before you offers a slightly different take on the formula, there's just as much devotion to throwing out unnecessary weight. No stereo, no air conditioning, no fussy driver aids. This is motoring pure and simple. The Westfield has a task to do, and it does it without getting distracted.
This particular car is finished in an attractive shade of pale blue with black wings and wheels. Its interior — what little there is of it — features luxuries like leather, carpet, and a few gauges. Everything else is so essential even Westfield had to admit they couldn’t do away with things like a steering wheel and pedals. Windows? Roof? Radio? All totally unnecessary when you have such laser focus on the driving experience.
We know you’re using your heart when buying a Westfield. You buy it because you want it, not because you need a car to go to the shops in. So go on, have some fun. Watch the coil-over shocks working hard as you clip the apex of your favourite corner with the wind in your hair and the seat of your pants just inches from the road.
