Ferrari 12Cilindri charity passenger ride at Goodwood Festival of Speed

One of the world’s most anticipated motoring events is just around the corner, with the Goodwood Festival of Speed running from 10-13 July. It’s an automotive mecca – a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the best performance and race cars in the world, both in the paddocks and at the side of the hill climb as they race against the clock.

Rarer still is the opportunity to go up the hill. Usually reserved for professional drivers, we have an incredibly exclusive passenger ride, courtesy of Ferrari North Europe, in a Ferrari 12Cilindri up for auction, with all proceeds going to two causes close to our hearts. Many of you will be aware of the news of the fire at Bicester Motion on Thursday 15 May, which tragically led to the deaths of two firefighters and a local businessman.

We are offering our support by raising money for the family of Dave Chester of Chesters & Sons, and the Fire Fighter Charity in honour of Jennie Logan and Martyn Sadler, the two firefighters who died fighting the blaze. While our buyer’s fee will show during bidding, we will donate this and gross up the tax to ensure 100% of the winning bid will be equally split between our two causes.

The passenger ride will be part of the Supercar run at 15:00 on Saturday 12 July 2025, and will include a pair of general entry tickets for the day. You’ll need to be at the Supercar Paddock no later than 14:00 to get signed on, get a helmet, meet your driver, and get comfortable.

You’ll be able to enjoy the atmosphere in the paddock and the queue for the start line as you prepare for the ascent, hold tight for the exhilarating ride and the noise of that 6.5-litre V12 as you power up the hill in the 830hp 12Cilindri, before catching your breath at the top of the hill and returning down it again into the paddock. There will be two GoPro cameras in the car – one forward facing and one facing the passenger and driver. You’ll be provided with the footage for your personal use afterwards, not that you’ll be forgetting the experience any time soon.

We’ll also include £100 of PistonHeads merchandise from the PistonHeads stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, along with a pair of tickets to the upcoming PistonHeads Annual Service at Bicester Motion on Saturday 9 August 2025.
