Overview

Hot hatches and the blue oval badge are synonymous here in the UK, and with good reason. Ford have long been producing everyman performance cars, though with the recent axeing of both the Fiesta ST and the Focus ST (the latter of which had its final car produced at the end of September 2025) time is ticking for the combustion-engined hot hatch, and Ford appears to have now bowed out of the game for good. 

Whilst this news is undoubtedly sad, it does serve as a reminder for us to look back even just a few years, and see just how good we’ve had it. Cars such as the Focus ST remain a cornerstone of the modern tuning scene, and offer plentiful thrills in standard form out of the box, though for those that want to up the ante or customise their ST to their taste, the sky really is the limit thanks to an army of aftermarket support and enthusiast knowledge.

A great example of such personalisation is this Focus ST Edition - purchased new by the seller, this ST has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind show-stopping hot hatch, featuring a wide-arch kit, aggressive aero and numerous mechanical upgrades, not to mention a remap to over 370bhp, meaning this show car has more than just fancy styling on offer.

Boasting height-adjustable air suspension, Airlift 3P management, Work wheels and a plethora of other upgrades, this ST Edition was the cover star for the September 2023 edition of Fast Ford magazine, and has gone on to feature as a marketing car for the likes of Pipercross. Interior

• The cabin remains largely as standard, with the addition of an Airlift 3P controller and an Alcantara steering wheel wrap

• There are some very minor signs of use on the high-traffic areas such as the shifter and door card pulls

• The driver’s door card has a larger scuff/indentation on the lower half

• In the rear, the cabin looks to have been barely used, barring a few scuffs on the door cards

• The boot space has been converted to show off the air suspension tank and compressor setup, featuring a single Viair compressor and Airlift 3P management system

• The seller notes that the interior has “professionally detailed each week” to keep it in top shape

Exterior

• Eye-catching ST-only Azura Blue paintwork

• The body and exterior of this Focus ST have been extensively modified and upgraded

• The most eye-catching modification is the full HUEIDEA wide-arch body kit, including new arches, front lip and rear spoiler

• Full air suspension setup, using Prazis struts and Airlift 3P management

• Autobeam full LED rear light cluster

• Custom F1-style ‘rain light’ in the rear diffuser - non-blinking

• WORK Emotion D9R wheels - 18” x 9.5” ET23

• The wheels have been recently refurbished in white

• H&R Hubcentric spacers - 20mm front, 30mm rear

• Designed as a show car, the overall condition of the exterior is very good

• The seller notes that all four of the arches have some cracks - a new/spare set is included in the sale of the vehicle

• Looking closer, we can see some stone chips to the front end, diffuser, side skirts and leading edges of the wide arches

• In addition to the stone chips and typical wear marks, we also note some scuffs to the nearside side skirt edge

• Overall, an eye-catching and dramatically modified Focus ST that clearly deserved its Fast Ford cover feature

Mechanical

• 2,261cc turbocharged ‘Ecoboost’ inline-four engine, producing 280bhp and 310lb/ft of torque as standard

• This example has been given a Dreamscience Stage 2+ tune, and is now producing 371bhp

• A handset is included for the next owner to switch between states of tune for different fuel and exhaust settings

• The standard adjustable coilover suspension featured on the ST Edition has been replaced with a height-adjustable air suspension setup

• Full Pipecross induction kit (this car was the show/demonstration car for the kit)

• Dreamscience intercooler

• Sports catalytic Converter
