Is the Porsche 992 Carrera GTS the ultimate usable sports car? For daily use, we can probably discount the track-focussed GT3 and GT3 RS. Both excellent in their own right, granted, but perhaps harder to live with on the regular. For the day to day it has to be the GTS then doesn't it? So yes, if you're after a contemporary, honest to goodness internal combustion powered 911 without any of the more modern hybrid bits and bobs then the 992 Carrera GTS could be just the ticket.

And that just so happens to be what we have available here: a 2023 Porsche 911 992 Carrera GTS in Irish Green, a legendary Porsche colour. Equipped with the venerable eight-speed PDK gearbox (which is arguably the one to have for daily use) and having covered just under 11,000 miles from new it still presents as a fresh example that has clearly been cherished in its short time away from the factory.
