Overview

Whenever any discussion around the subject of “the best sports / super car on the market” takes place, you’ll find us petrolheads and car journos talking about all manner of exotica. Rare special editions, track-day machines, and other massively bewinged, vented and wide-arched beasts that can hunt apexes like a starving lion chasing a wounded gazelle.

However, if you actually put money in our hands and told us to go out and buy something to own ourselves and use regularly, very few of us would get any further than the Porsche area of PH. More specifically, the 911 section would see a lot of action.

The reasons for this are many and varied, but they can basically be summed up in one simple statement: in the real world, the Porsche 911 is the best all-round sports car on the planet, period. And of all its iterations, the 991.2 Turbo is perhaps the variant that offers the perfect blend of luxury, outrageous power, granite-like build quality and phenomenal on-road ability.

For many, the Turbo is a sweet-spot of the range, especially with its AWD system offering the kind of performance and security that is ideally suited to the UK’s truculently psychotic weather and ancient road system. You could genuinely use it every day, with almost no compromise at all. It’s also worth noting that Porsche’s claimed 0-62mph time of 3 seconds has been proven time and again to be rather conservative, and the Turbo is very much a luxurious GT car when you’re cruising and a supercar-slaying animal when you decide to deploy the loud pedal.

And if you’re in the market for a 911 Turbo, which as we’ve established we all should be, then this glorious example is precisely what you should be looking at. The specification is rare and eye-catching, and has everything you could want from a modern 911: Sport Chrono, PDCC, PASM, PDLS+ front axle lift and a myriad other acronyms. To add to that, service history is excellent, the condition superb inside and out and the mileage is much lower than average.

Make no mistake, this is a beautiful car, in a fantastically individual specification. One we’d very much like ourselves.

• Stunning Carmine Red paintwork, which presents in very fine condition, with only a handful of minor blemishes and a fantastic, deep gloss

• The front bodywork areas, mirror casings and the rear wings have all been wrapped in XPEL Ultimate PPF – this work was carried out before the current ownership and came with a 10-year warranty

• We noted what appears to be a small chip to the PPF on the driver’s side door mirror and a paint chip repair to the driver's sill

• All of the bodywork looks to be in exceptional condition, with no dents, scrapes, corrosion or misalignment we could see

• Similarly, the external trim and badging is all complete and in good order, with no warping, corrosion or damage to note

• The underside of the vehicle was inspected by Porsche at the last service (January 2026) and no faults or issues were flagged

• Matched set of Pirelli P-Zero tyres (245/35 front, 305/30 rear) – minimum tread depth as of January 2026: 5.1mm (rear) and 3.6mm (front)

Summary
