Overview

Heritage is at the centre of any Morgan Motors product; this is a brand which has been hand-building cars since the early 20th century.  Their wooden jigs for body panels were in continuous use since the 1960s (at the time of the Roadster’s launch) and products such as the Plus Four, Roadster and Plus 8 can trace their visual identity right back to the inception of the brand.

Not only are Morgan’s cars beautiful, but they are perhaps the best example of a brand seamlessly blending classically inspired aesthetics and craftsmanship with modern technology and mechanicals, and this car is no exception. Whilst it may have a steel ladder-frame chassis and hand-crafted bodywork as per Morgan’s central ethos, it also has a modern-era Ford V6 at its heart, mated to a Ford six-speed manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential. Whilst not designed as an out-and-out sports car, it has more than earned its stripes as the self-styled ‘British muscle car’ as Morgan describes it. 

This particular example is finished in the stunning shade of Rolls-Royce Garnet Red over a timeless cream leather interior, and features a number of factory extras such as wire wheels and a rear luggage rack.

With less than 10,000 miles covered from new, a full Morgan main dealer history and just 2 recorded keepers, this is a fantastic example of the most powerful model built upon Morgan’s steel ladder chassis, and would make a great addition to any collection or enthusiasts’ garage.
