Overview

With a near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution, the Honda S2000 is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive, raw, road-going masterpiece engineered for surgical-precision handling. At the heart of the S2000 lies the legendary 2.0-litre F20C, a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that revs to an eye-watering 9,000 rpm. It was also one of the highest-power-output 2.0-litre production cars at the time, with approximately 240 bhp under your right foot and coupled to one of the most tactile six-speed manual gearboxes ever built. The S2000 remains a benchmark for delivering immense driver engagement to this day.

While primarily an open-top experience, the 2003 model is at its most iconic when paired with the factory-optional aluminium hardtop, like the one we have here today.
