Overview
The L320 Range Rover Sport arrived in 2005 on a shortened Discovery chassis and quickly established itself as a versatile all-rounder, praised for its excellent comfort and decent handling. Powered by the 2.7-litre TDV6 turbodiesel through an automatic gearbox, it offered real-world usability backed by Terrain Response, Hill Descent Control and adjustable air suspension. Produced between 2005 and 2013, it was a big seller but this one looks a little different, to say the least.
In fact, this 2007 HSE has been comprehensively reimagined from the ground up. Outside, a full wide-body conversion transforms the silhouette: sculpted front bumper with deep splitter and mesh intakes, extended wheelarch flares, smoked headlight lenses, bonnet vents, a gloss black contrast roof and large-diameter multi-spoke alloys with Brabus centre caps. The vendor tells us it's frequently mistaken for an SVR, and it's not hard to see why. Step inside and the transformation continues; the entire cabin has been retrimmed in cognac leather with diamond-quilted stitching across seats, door cards and armrests, lifting the interior well beyond the original HSE specification.
Red-painted Brembo brake calipers sit behind drilled discs at all four corners, a Pioneer touchscreen brings connectivity to the dash, and a custom X-Fire subwoofer and amplifier provide serious audio presence. A twin exhaust system delivers a deeper, more characterful note.
Beneath all that visual theatre sits a solid mechanical foundation. In August 2024 at 126,401 miles, a thorough overhaul totalling £6,294 addressed the turbocharger, cambelt and tensioner, all upper and lower suspension arms at every corner, complete brake pipe and flex hose replacement, air conditioning re-gas, suspension compressor and a full service, finished with professional four-wheel alignment. Earlier specialist servicing from 2016 onwards is documented using genuine Land Rover components and factory-level SDD diagnostics. With a current MOT pass through to July 2026 carrying only a single advisory noting undertrays, this is an L320 that's been given a second life; not just restyled, but rebuilt where it counts.

Summary
Among the many L320 Range Rover Sports produced between 2005 and 2013, very few have received anything close to this level of cosmetic and mechanical transformation. The wide-body conversion, bespoke diamond-quilted cognac leather cabin, Brembo brakes and custom audio create a vehicle with genuine road presence and a character all of its own, while the substantial £6,294 mechanical overhaul in August 2024 means the foundations beneath that visual drama have been thoroughly refreshed, leaving it ready to be driven and enjoyed. For the buyer who wants individuality, presence and a Range Rover Sport that truly stands apart from the crowd, this reimagined L320 delivers.
