Overview

Subaru’s icon Impreza is always a tempting proposition but with the sheer amount of special editions that were produced over the years picking the right one can be a little daunting. Having said that though the P1 is arguably the one to have. Incredibly rare and with huge investment potential, it remains a stand out track to this day.

Introduced in 2000,the limited edition P1 was developed by Subaru's rally division Prodrive as a nod to the company's rally success and holds the title of the first two-door, full beans Impreza that was available via official channels to us Brits here in the UK. Featuring a slew of upgrades, the P1 came complete with a custom suspension setup that was perfect for fast road use on these shores as well as a re-tuned 276bhp turbo flat-four that still feels fast today.

Looking every bit the iconic rally hero and coming in at a far more attainable price point than the 22B, the P1 remains an attractive proposition that's free from any potential grey import shenanigans and this particular car looks to be a solid, usable example. Yes it's covered some mileage but the engine was professionally rebuilt in 2018 and has covered limited miles since. A stainless cat-back Blitz NUR spec 3" exhaust has been fitted to improve breathing along with a few other choice mods, including a Competition carbon kevlar clutch and lightened flywheel.

In current ownership for 12 years, the car comes with an impressive history file and two stamped service books showing mostly main dealer servicing along with an MOT until May 2027 and a recent service to go along with it. It’s a rare chance to own a high point in the impressive Impreza canon, so get your bid in now!
