Overview
When Porsche revised the 996 in 2001, it swapped the original 3.4-litre flat-six for a 3.6, lifting power to 320bhp and reworking the nose with headlamps that echo the Turbo. It’s highly sought after and exactly what we have here: a facelift 996 Carrera 2, finished in metallic Meridian Silver over black leather.
What makes this one worth a closer look is its very low mileage. It's covered under 37,000 miles from new, and it shows: the paint holds a deep, even gloss, the clear-lens headlamps are crisp, and the cabin still presents as near-standard with barely a mark on the leather. It's a lovely looking example, and the six-speed manual maximises engagement.
Underneath, the chassis was comprehensively refreshed by a marque specialist in 2022, so it’s very much ready to go. In fine cosmetic fettle and backed by a deep record of care, it's a facelift 3.6 you can enjoy from the moment you turn the key.

Summary
In short, this is a genuinely well-preserved facelift 996 Carrera 2, the more powerful 3.6 paired with the manual gearbox, presented in near-showroom condition inside and out. At 36,700 miles it’s barely run in, yet the freshly refreshed chassis and continuous servicing mean it's ready to be used and enjoyed straight away. For anyone after an honest, usable 911 that's been genuinely cherished, this is a hard example to better.
