Overview

Ford rediscovered its pony-car mojo with the S197 Mustang, and plenty have crossed the Atlantic to find enthusiast homes over here. Built on a purpose-designed platform, it handles tidily, seats four and wears that unmistakable long-bonnet, short-deck silhouette. Best of all, the 4.6-litre V8 supplies the soundtrack.

This 2010 GT takes the recipe further. Someone's spent properly to turn it into a supercharged Shelby GT350-style tribute, headlined by an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger sitting on top of the 4.6 V8. It's finished in blue with over-the-top racing stripes and a Cervini bonnet, and it sits low on polished split-rim alloys.

In addition to being beautifully presented, fFresh tyres, an uprated BAER brake kit and a purposeful lowered stance mean it's a car built to be driven, not just parked and admired.

At 36,107 miles with a spotless cabin and a supercharged V8 that, the vendor tells us, "sounds amazing," this is a Mustang that grabs your attention and then delivers on it.

Summary

This Mustang GT350-style tribute presents beautifully inside and out, from the deep blue paintwork to a spotless, fully working cabin. The Edelbrock E-Force supercharger, BAER brakes and uprated dampers add up to a proper fast-Ford build, and the vendor tells us it drives superbly. With fresh tyres, recent main-dealer servicing and just 36,107 miles behind it, it's ready to enjoy straight away.
