Overview

The Cerbera was Peter Wheeler's first fixed-head TVR coupe and the first to carry four seats, and the Speed Six cars use TVR's own 4.0-litre straight-six in place of the AJP V8. That means 350bhp, 330 lb ft, a five-speed Borg-Warner T5 and no driver aids. This is analogue, rear-wheel-drive motoring at its most honest, wrapped in a body and a cabin that look like nothing else on the road.

This red example is a Speed Six that's been set up to be enjoyed. The deep red metallic paint carries a mirror gloss over straight panels and even shut lines, and it sits on silver multi-spoke Spider alloys. Inside, the swooping bespoke dash, wood-veneer binnacle and TVR-branded dials are trimmed in tan leather, with embroidered Cerbera mats underfoot and factory air conditioning fitted.
