The panoramic and fully electric glass roof of the Targa helped retain the aesthetic line and rigidity of the coupe whilst catering for those that enjoy more than just a sunroof. An electric blind can be deployed below the glass panel to reduce glare should the need arise. Furthermore the rear glass tailgate of the targa can be raised to access storage behind the back seats. The rear seat uprights share the same rake as the coupe and as such are more accomodating than those of the full convertible. The Targa, therefore, is very much a practical solution to those who enjoy open top motoring.
