2012 Aston Martin

The Aston Martin Rapide is a 5-door, 4-seater, high-performance sports saloon, which was introduced in early 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in 2006 and the production version was shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Rapide name is a reference to the Lagonda Rapide, a five-door, four-seater saloon produced by Lagonda, now a part of Aston Martin. The new Rapide is the company's first fastback saloon since the Lagonda which was discontinued in 1990. The Rapide is based on the DB9 and is underpinned by the VH Generation III platform. The first cars rolled off the production line in May 2010, initially built at a dedicated plant at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria. It was initially planned to build 2,000 cars per year, but production was relocated to England in 2012 after sales did not meet production targets. This example is presented in Quantum solid silver with Tan and black interior with contrasting stitching and light grey alcantara headlining. The car has been treated by Diamondbrite which is a protective high gloss skin guaranteed for life which also covers carpets and leather. The odometer now reads 52,000 miles (I am driving this car - can't help myself!) which is supported by a full MOT history. The car is complete with original books which detail the comprehensive Main Dealer service history (8 service stamps and 7 anti corrosion inspections) and the all important spare glass key. The specification is complete with rear entertainment complete with remote and wireless headphones), satellite navigation and a 1000W Bang and Olufsen sound system. The seats are both heated and cooled with contracting Rapide embroidered into the headrests and are complete with memory settings. To be fully workshop inspected prior to collection and comes with all book packs, spare keys and a new mot if applicable in addition a six months warranty that can be extended to 4 years at additional cost I love this car.....
