The McLaren 600LT (Longtail) is the up there with the most extreme of McLaren’s Sport Range and arguably one of the most accurate and agile supercar on sale today.

McLaren’s 3.8 V8 twin-turbocharged engine has been remapped to give it an impressive 592bhp which is transmitted to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Of course, this has McLaren’s lightning-fast “inertia push” shifts and an open differential. Special mention also needs to be made of the 600LT’s flame-spitting top-exit exhaust which is pretty cool by any standards.

All this combined with a kerb weight of 1356kg means the McLaren 600LT is insanely fast – 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 204mph. It explodes on the road with the kind of rocket-propelled malevolence that would put some hypercars to shame.
