Porsche 968 Cabriolet
The final development of front engine Porsche sports cars, 968 traces its roots back to the 924 of the early 1970’s. Gradually developed through the 944 to this the last iteration, the 968 represents the pinnacle of a long line of very successful front engine GT sports cars.
Despite the success of the 944, 968 was sold in only low volumes, 12,776 being built in total. This particular car, a 1993 Cabriolet is particularly rare and benefits from a good colour choice by its first owner, many of these cars having been specified in more flamboyant colour choices.
With a superb history file that includes many receipts and invoices, including for a recent service and cambelt change by a marque specialist, a full set of MOT’s, Porsche Club GB Certificate of Production and of course now benefitting from a full CMC pre-sale inspection, L426 ONU is a fantastic example of what are absolutely terrific sports cars. This car comes to us from a long standing CMC customer, renowned for his fastidious attention to the maintenance and the condition of his cars, and this is born out with this particular car. With cast iron Porsche quality and real world usability these cars are a great choice for those who enjoy driving rather than tinkering and as a convertible they offer relaxed open air motoring with Porsche dynamics and performance for when the mood takes you.
You will struggle to find a better example.
