For sale is my Clio 182 track car

A car I’ve never even used! I bought it to do a few winter trackdays as I don’t like trailering my Caterham about in the rain and salt but lockdown f**ked that plan! The sun's now coming back out and if I'm honest with myself I've no use for it so someone else can enjoy it rather than my Wife reminding me I have 2 cars for the same thing!

The car’s in good all round condition, I bought it as a track day car in it’s current spec and I have just tinkered a bit over winter adding the Speedlines, the Sports Cat and tidying up a few bits.

It has a few nice additions which should make it a fun well spec’d track car out of the box for anyone wanting a turn key toy. It’s a shame I’ve only over been around the block in it! Mechanically it appears to have been well maintained and there is some history albeit not much - I’m told the belts and dephaser were done in 2019 and the invoice was applied to the previous owners wagon so no receipt available - the belts look clean and the dephaser’s quiet so I’ve no reason to disbelieve them! He also offered the supplying technicians information for record.

Downsides to note would be a couple of blemishes in the paintwork notably a ding in the NSR quarter but overall very tidy for a track car. The ABS light is on for some reason and the airbag light is also on to tell you there are no airbags – I understand this can be cancelled out via Renault Canclip software or a couple of well-placed resistors!

In summary it’s a fun turnkey which looks the part in racing blue with white speedlines – would make great track, sprint or hillclimb car. It does have a couple of niggles as detailed above but what track car doesn’t!!
