Motodrome offer for sale this superb1975 Reliant Scimitar GTE SE5a Manual with Overdive, finished in Spectrum Green

This wonderful example underwent a total body-off rebuild 1995 to 2000, and saw little use until being recently recommissioned, and is now probably one of the nicest SE5a Scimitars available

Fitted with overdrive gearbox, sunroof, Don Pither front seats, and aftermarket diamond-cut alloys. Also has some nice period headlamp guards fitted

Odometer reading 84000 miles with a massive file of history detailing the rebuild. As I understand it, it had just one owner from 1982 to 2020 who commissioned an extensive rebuild in 1995, which was finished in 2000. For some reason he then used it so sparingly up until 2006 (and then put it away) that it covered less than 1000 miles post-rebuild.

I say extensive rebuild – it underwent a complete body off rebuild around a galvanised chassis, refurbishment of the body and a complete colour change from the original Red, rebuilt engine, gearbox, and axles, new interior, full rewiring etc. The bills total over £11000.00 – strong money 21 years ago. The file includes some photos of it stripped of the body etc.

It looks lovely and drives superbly with that wonderful Essex V6 soundtrack
