Introduced to the public in June 1970, the new “Range Rover” was launched as “A Car For All Reasons”

Rover had succeeded in their goal of making a car equally capable both on and off-road, better in both environments than any other four wheel drive vehicle of its era.

One of the first significant changes came in 1981, with the introduction of a four door body.

This fine project sports the 3.9 injection engine which benefits from a professional addition of an LPG conversion, offering both power and economy.

The powerful drive train puts out 188 brake horsepower, 27 miles per gallon with a top speed of 111 mph.

Fast appreciating in value, this is no doubt the ultimate iteration of the classic Range Rover.

Formerly the property of a lady Land Rover enthusiast, the vehicle has been parked and would benefit from a full service and light recommissioning.

The vehicle starts on the button and is fitted with a new battery, the gearbox and drive train function correctly.

It is very complete with a good grey leather interior, rear parcel shelf, spare wheel cover and is equipped with the usual refinements such as electric seats, air conditioning, electric windows. the vehicle also comes with a supplementary matching alloy spare wheel.

There is some light corrosion in the rear tailgate upper frame but otherwise the vehicle bears all the marks of an excellent investment project, and as can be seen in the photos there is a small dent on the bonnet.

The vehicle comes with its handbook and stamped service record booklet as well as instructions for the stereo.

The LPG system was supplied some years ago by an approved fitter and is made by HVM, as recommended. This is also supplied with its cover.
