EXTERIOR

Gloriously presented in Sepang Blue pearl effect. Following our detailed inspection, we were unable to identify any defect worthy of note. All panels are un-marked; the overall appears of the bodywork being virtually as it left the Audi showroom on day one.

INTERIOR

Once again, with the appearance resembling a new car, zero wear to be found to any of the internal surfaces.

The luxurious Valcona leather, with desirable honeycomb quilted design, is opulent and functional. Electrically adjustable and heated sport seats are extremely supportive in all plains. The lay-out and materials incorporated, both modern and stylish, with piano black inlays leather and exposed aluminium. Subtle highlights, such as the flat bottom multi-function steering wheel, hint at the power on tap and sporting ambitions of the RS6.

THE DRIVE & ENGINE

This C7 Performance Package example is powered by a TFSI 3933 CC, DOHC twin turbo V8, developing a remarkable 597 BHP / 445 KW and 750 Nm of torque @ 2500 – 5500 rpm. Transmission via an 8 speed automatic, with option to change manually via steering wheel mounted paddles. Performance, as expected, is prodigious, with the 0 – 62 mph sprint achieved in a claimed 3.7 secs, and a top speed limited to 155mph. Quattro all-wheel drive provides constant sure-footedness. With Audi combined fuel figures of 29.4 mpg, luggage compartment capacity of 565 litres, a low loading area lip and power boot close, the RS6 Avant is virtually a Supercar all the family can enjoy, and this is certainly one of the best we have ever seen.
