PORSCHE 911 (996) 3.4 CARRERA 2 1997

1997 3.4 C2 manual. Well maintained with excellent service history.

Very early 996 - cable throttle. LSD, MO30 suspension, heated sports seats, sunroof, 18’ Carrera 4S wheels (refurbed in 2019). 96k miles, but had a full replacement engine (by Porsche main dealer) at 50k miles - before I got it. Extensive service history and loads of work done since I got the car in 2015. All maintenance while in my care has been carried out at a respected local independent (Zentrum, Nottinghamshire).

Work I’ve had done - replacement air con rads, new clutch and RMS, IMS all checked and confirmed OK, suspension refreshed last year (new coffin arms, top mounts, engine mounts and other bits and bobs) new rear shocks 3 years ago. Shocks / springs tested at Center Gravity in 2020 and confirmed as A-OK. Replacement period Becker head unit with Bluetooth (original CDR-21 will be included).

2 working keys, stamped service book and original manuals are included. Also included - a full set of boxed, unused Pagid RS42 brake pads (bought on a lockdown whim - current pads totally fine), 3M headlight polishing kit (unused), and I'll even throw in 2 books - '101 Projects for your 911' and 'Porsche 996 the Essential Companion'.

Full disclosure - the bodywork is in original condition. There are no major issues, but she's coming up for 24 years old and showing signs of a life well-lived.

The car has never let me down and has been well looked after and well driven - I'm selling due to lack of recent use and a pandemic-related reassessment of priorities.
