BENTLEY TURBO RL - 1992 - INCREDIBLE SERVICE HISTORY

Hello and welcome to the advert for my beautiful 1992 Bentley Turbo R (Long Wheel Base).

This is (in my opinion) the best Turbo R specification. Being a 1992, she is pre-catalytic converter and has the earlier pre Zytec engine which is not prone to the head gasket issues. This is also a very special car as it is a 4 speed (later GM box) with a column shift and sport button and active ride.

Finished in Brewster Green with Parchment hide with matching piping. Headlining in parchment. Top Roll in Spruce Hide and lower roll in parchment hide. Conifer green carpets with matching Lambswool rugs.

Only 3 previous owners.

First registered and sold in Feb 1992 (£138,150 including extras) by Broughtons of Cheltenham (HR Owen). Broughtons sold the car to the second owner in 1994 (receipt included) who kept the car for 25 years. Broughtons exclusively maintained the car and serviced 38 times. Due to ill health, the car was sold to the third owner in 2018 and then I purchased her in 2020.

I looked at 12 cars prior to buying her and almost gave up believing I could find such a genuine loved Turbo R. She has 201,000 miles and as the history shows, this is a car which has been used regularly and correctly its whole life.

The service history spans 4 display folders and totals over £145,000 in servicing and maintenance. I cannot explain how wonderful and genuine the history of this car is and I have never seen anything like it! Summary as follows (stamped in three books!):

All receipts and paperwork are in 4 display folders along with all original handbooks and dealer handover stamped document.

In my ownership, a lot of future maintenance work has been undertaken and she is totally reliable and a testament to how wonderful these cars are when they are looked after correctly. In my ownership, she has had lots of work including new fuel and suspension pipes, new engine aux belts, new radiator, new oil cooler and new engine mounts.

I also had the suspension upgraded to have Bilstein dampers (if you have seen Harry's Garage he recently did the same to his Silver Shadow) and as a result the car drives superbly (Rear spheres also replaced in 2018.) All work has been undertaken by Bentley and RR specialist, Royce Engineering.

This is a must see Turbo R which will not disappoint.

Always dry stored in a heated/dehumidified garage and enthusiast owned. Any inspection welcome.
