This Honda CX650 Turbo has covered 9,273 miles and is also in excellent condition and an absolute credit to its previous owners. Our 1986 example started life in the warm sunny climate of Italy and was brought into, and registered in the UK in 2018. The bike is supplied with the original Italian documents, owners manual and service book. It will receive a service and full independent MOT prior to sale. In 1983, turbocharging was thought to be the future of motorcycling. And while the Honda CX650 Turbo was arguably the best of the turbocharged motorcycles that appeared on the roads in the early Eighties, it is now one of the rarest production Hondas ever, with only 1,777 built of which 1200 of those were made for the US and Canada. The first Honda turbo, the CX500TC, was announced in 1981 and appeared in 1982. It not only sported a turbo, but also a fuel injection system and onboard computers. Due to poor consumption and suffering from turbo "lag" Honda went back to the drawing board and came up with the 674cc CX650T for the 1983 model year which successfully ironed out the problems and the bikes reputation as a great sports tourer quickly grew.
