This car was built to a very high level in Japan, prior to being imported to the UK in October 2005 at 4,844 miles by Newera Imports (original Newera 36 page sales brochure, packed with photos, with the first line stating 'by far the best prepared Impreza STi 8 we've come across'). The current owner spent in excess of £9000 in 2020 with parts sourced from Roger Clark Motorsport. The car was then setup with a reduced power running-in map in August 2020 at Dyno Dynamics until the running in service was completed in October 2021 at 25,379 miles. The car was then fitted with a new Exedy organic clutch and flywheel in February 2022 and adjusted back to healthy power (374.8 BHP), costing £2,169. When the current owner purchased the car in December 2018 at 23,240 miles, it was fitted with new Tein Super-Street coilovers, OE top mounts, cambelt, rear diff & gearbox fluid replaced and 4-wheel Hunter geometry setup. The interior has been fitted with an STI Genome 52mm boost gauge with Defi link controller, Integral knock, boost, oil & water temp meters and Addzest stereo head unit. Private plate included in sale (previously registered on YJ52SLO) and master Subaru key is present. Fantastic condition throughout, with very little wear and tear on the interior, the car is a joy to drive and a credit to it's previous owners.
