Ref: J125FGX SMC Heritage are proud to present this lovely 1991 Mercedes 190E W201 saloon finished in stunning Barolo Red Provenance: Built in Sept 1991 to UK Specification it was supplied new on 1st November 1991 by Mr Alder of Bexleyheath Kent by HMG Bromley. The original hand written order form is still present and shows that Mr Alder part exchange his 1988 Renault 9 Auto with just 9000 miles and that the OTR cost of his new Mercedes would be �20,128.. With fully documented ownership and a service book showing 15 stamps plus a huge array of invoices for maintenance and MOTs back to the 90s to further validate the mileage, this really is a lovely useable example. The car is supplied with all booklets and instructions in the original clear plastic file. The number plates are from the original supplying dealer and the dealer sticker in the rear screen is still present. The tools are in original roll. Exterior: The Barolo Red paint (540U) paint is in lovely order throughout with no signs of rust on the arches or the jacking points. The sacco panels are painted in the correct factory contrast matte shade. The Alloy wheel are factory correct, unmarked, unrestored and fitted with matching Michelin tyres all round. Interior: The interior is a fabulous place to reside with factory sunroof and Zebrano wood trim. The factory beige cloth interior (065) is in superb order and appointed with both front and rear armrests and rear headrests. The rear door cards are still taught and free from the peeling that effects so many of its peers. The luggage nets are also taught and free from sagging. The carpets have been protected by matching fitted over mats. The load area is again complete and undamaged with no obvious sign of loading use. Having lived the cosseted highlife, unlike many 190s this example has clearly never suffered the indignity of becoming a budget run around run on a shoe string and now dragged back to life to satisfy a climbing market On the Road: Perhaps unsparingly given the low miles and impeccable upkeep it drives with a time warp tautness you that you could only find with a low mileage perfectly maintained example.
