Unveiled in December 2017 by McLaren, the Senna is a limited-run machine with just 500 models in existence. Borrowing elements from the 720s, the Senna builds upon that platform and brings more power, more presence and extensive aerodynamics that make it both clinical to drive and beautiful to look at. The Twin-Turbo V8 engine generates a staggering 789bhp! This means the Senna is good for 0-62mph time of just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 208mph. This 2019 (19) example has covered just 3,600 miles from new, has had just two owners in its lifetime and it also comes with the benefit of a McLaren Warranty running until May 2023. No expense has been spared in putting this incredibly eye-catching car together and there’s an optional extras list that totals £94,000. It's as eye catching as it is dynamic, and this is down to what can only be described as an MSO masterpiece. To pay homage to the legendary Brazilian F1 Driver, Ayrton Senna, the livery for this car was chosen to commemorate the legend's first ever F1 GP win in 1985 at Estoril, Portugal. It was in monsoon conditions and Senna drove to finish in pole position, by more than a minute faster than anybody else. It was a spectacular display of driving, and this car is so symbolic to all manner of Ayrton Senna's history, conceptualised by that first race win. Many will remember him for many other dazzling driving displays, but in JPS colours is where it all began. The paintwork is an MSO Bespoke colour called ‘Black Gold’. This is complimented by period Gold decals and all of which is fully protected by paint protection film. The 9-spoke ultralightweight wheels are finished in a striking Gold paint to match and it really gives the already stand-out beauty of the Senna another dimension. Not to mention the heaps of MSO Bespoke Carbon Fibre components too. Inside, the car gets a very similar colour palette too but with a more subtle approach. There’s matte finish carbon fibre components around the centre console and on the inserts of the steering wheel, and the ultra-lightweight ‘Senna’ seats are finished in Black with Carbon Black Alcantara inserts. These are pulled together with Gold stitching and it works perfectly. This car also gets Floor Mats, a Bowers & Wilkins Sound System and the MSO Track Telemetry pack with 3 onboard cameras. This McLaren Senna is a breathtaking machine in all manners of the phrase. It’s an eye-watering car to look at when stationary, and it’ll leave you pleasantly exhilarated each and every time you drive it.
