Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon TI TBi

This car has had a lot of work done by MotorMech, local garages, myself and the previous owner, who are both PH people. The car has a long running thread from both owners. I can't put a link here, so just Google 'Alfa Romeo 208000' and it's the first result (at least for me). This tells you all the work done on the car including various arms and suspension, the turbo, the handbrake, all new springs and shocks and more. It's had quite a lot of recent work under my ownership. For me it's time to sell, I fancy a Jaaaag.
It's hard to find a TBi Ti Sportwagon these days. So yes, the mileage is high but it's been well looked after and plenty of recent work done on age related parts. Every advisory on the last MOT was sorted out with MotorMech in Birmingham, an Alfa specialist (including the handbrake, front pads, etc).
Here's a list of work in my ownership which is near £3k (receipts all available):
New battery (fair enough, it was quite old, had a dead cell)
Service (of course! I did one oil change and Motormech in Birmingham did one)
New wheel bearing (Motormech)
New handbrake cables: it was barely able to hold on a hill and just passed the MOT. This was pretty labour intensive I believe and added a lot to the bill, but needed doing , probably sooner than this! (Motormech)
The engine light was on at one point and down on boost - just a split vacuum line (Motormech)
New front brake pads (Motormech)
New rear anti roll bar linkages (Motormech)
New springs and shocks all round: this has been the surprise. They are likely mostly original, the passenger front shock rotted through the bottom and so collapsed (fortunately while it was parked overnight). The driver front was about to do the same and one of the rears also didn't look good. Easier to go all round (done locally)
I sanded, treated, painted and painted again the front sub frame to make sure it's solid for many years, was showing some surface rust
New tyres all round over ownership (some new fronts, then rears were gone, so fronts to the rear and new fronts)
The passenger rear window window regulator
Drivers front window regulator
The alignment garage sheared off one of the alignment bolts: cue a new rear arm with integrated bush and fitting for another £700!
It recently went through it's MOT with no issues and needed a new rear caliper beforehand as it started sticking
Any questions shoot me a message and happy to discuss. No silly offers please I'm pretty firm on the price. With all the money I've put in it (Basically what I am asking!) I think it's fair market price too. Only 4 owners and the greatest chunk of mileage was all motorway with the first owner.
Things I really like about it:
- The engine: long known as one of Alfa's better it's a petrol but the turbo makes it drive with more torque and therefore nice and punchy
- The interior: love the tan interior feels like a special place to be and the heated seats are nice too. Climate control works great too, no need for the famous 'regas' here!
- Music: you can plugin your iPhone or use the bluetooth music streaming kit I fitted that uses the CD Changer port
- The looks: it just looks ace :)
I also have the cables for the diagnostic tool MultiECUScan you can have these too, I might be able to transfer the software license for it as well.
