Honda Civic Type R GT FN2 Fast Road Car Low Miles FSH

Milano Red GT close-ratio 6 speed manual model with excellent black/ red fabric interior, this low mileage (92k) 2009 model is in great condition throughout and has had no expense spared. It has a full service history and long MOT as well as being fully HPI clear. It has had the rear torsion beam replaced with a mew OEM item which was a big job that all FN2 Type R's will need at some point soon. I've owned (and garaged) it for 3+ years and it has been an utter delight. It's been my 8th FN2(!) and is by far the best driving one i've had. A company car, increased business travel and lack of usage (I've only done around 4,000 miles in it) has meant i've had to make the difficult decision to part ways with it.

It has a detailed and extensive service history with no expense spared. When I bought the car I immediately addressed the transmission and suspension. The gearbox was removed and inspected/ overhauled by leading Type R specialist Grinspeed who proclaimed it in excellent shape before fitting an excellent MFactory Race pack Limited Slip Differential, lightweight flywheel (now revs even more quickly) and new genuine clutch. For the suspension a full check was completed and various bushes uprated to Polyurethane before a set of new and class-leading and fully adjustable Meister R coilovers kit were fitted. Once this was done the car had a full geo suspension set-up and is now exceptionally good to drive whatever the road conditions. The tyres are also in great condition.

Standard factory equipment includes Dual zone Climate control, Aluminium gear lever, Sports seats, Leather steering wheel, Split-folding rear seats, Dual level boot floor, Aluminium foot pedals, Remote central locking with Cat 1 alarm system, Red carpets and dials, Switchable Vehicle Stability Control, ABS, Multiple airbags, Front fog lights, Power steering and lovely 18" original alloy wheels.

It was fully original when I bought it and Grinspeed have completed the following improvements;

- New Full Race Pack MFactory LSD

- New Lightweight flywheel

- New OEM clutch

- Full gearbox inspection and is in great condition

- New Mesiter R adjustable coilover suspension (Gives an amazing ride, better than the original suspension)

- New original specification rear torsion bar / beam (A very expensive job and needs to be done professionally)

- New poly suspension bushes for rear beam including re-shim

- New short shift gear kit and alcantara gaitor

- New front and rear brake upgrades including discs and high performance pads as well as new calipers

- Air conditioning recently serviced and working fine

- Full service with genuine parts including valve clearance adjustment and has just ben serviced again

- Genuine HKS intake system

There are probably far more items that I haven't mentioned. The body and interior are in great condition with minimal bolster wear etc and the mechanicals are also great with the car using no fluids other than Shell Optimax 99RON fuel (amazing the car regularly returns 40mpg!) It has a stack of service history including all the invoices for what I have spent and it has just passed it's MOT with zero advisories and reasonable road tax costs.
