This 1981 Volkswagen Scirocco GTI Storm is a lovely example and presents very well with its ‘Storm only’ metallic body colour and tan leather. Very few are likely to be left on UK roads and especially Storm models in this colour. I don’t like using the well-trodden phrase of ‘Find another one’ but it really does apply to this car.

In 2017, the car received some improvements as it had not been used for many years. The registered owner was a previous owner having owned the car 20 years prior. He sold to a local guy to him and them bought back 20 years on.

These improvements did include a respray to the bodywork and the ordering and replacement of many parts.

As to the mechanical side, there’s invoices showing servicing and maintenance items which have been replaced in the past 5 years including a camblet, water pump, clutch kit and engine tune up in 2018.
