This 1999 Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 4 Cabriolet is a smart example of an exciting open-top sports car, which boasts a desirable specification. It is equipped with the 3.4-litre 300bhp flat-six, with four-wheel drive via an engaging six-speed manual box.

First registered in May 1999, it left the factory finished in Ocean Blue metallic, with an interior trimmed in full tan. It remains highly original, but now features a Gundo exhaust mod for a more vocal tone.

The bodywork is in generally good condition, & the blue paint is in good order for a well-used example. That said, there are some light stone chips to the front. The soft-top appears to fit very well & presents with just a couple of light marks. The original colour-coded hard top roof is also included.

In Feb 2016 at 80k miles, Charles Ivey replaced the clutch, flywheel, brake discs & pads. In March 2021 at 111k miles Ashgood Porsche replaced a worn rear anti-roll bar as part of a pre-MOT check-over. Prior to this, in Jan 2019 at 107k miles, Charles Ivey in London replaced the engine oil, filter, drop links & driveshaft gaiters, before renewing the wishbone fittings & repairing an exhaust leak. In late 2022 a gearbox rebuild with synchro replacement (rectifying a common 2nd gear engagement fault) was undertaken as well as a replacement clutch, replacement discs and pads, new engine mounts, new oil cooler, photo recorded uprated IMS bearing, full service, MOT, alloy wheel refurbishment and cosmetic refresh. All parts were supplied by Design911. Most recently, in June 2023, Carrera Performance Horsham overhalled the engine, pressure and crack testing the heads and replacing the bank 1 cylinder. The car has now been tested to be mechanically sound and is offered with a 3 month warranty as standard.
