2005 TVR

This stunning 2005 Mk2 Tuscan 3.6 has had an interesting life. Originally supplied and serviced by Henley Heritage TVR it appears to have had numerous services carried out pre 2008 as it shows various coloured paint marks that Henley used during servicing.

The car sustained bodywork damage to the rear panel (photos available) in March 2006. Normally this would have been repaired under insurance but due to the factory closing and no availability of rear bodywork sections at this time the car was classified Cat D.

The next owner then carried on using the car with the damage still evident. The last owner then put the car into storage in 2013. We are unsure if this was due to illness but he later lost his life and the car remained there until 2022 when his mother contacted Str8Six. Unfortunately all the service books and paperwork were lost at this point.

We collected the car and carried out a thorough inspection and report. Having not been driven or serviced for many years the car required a lot of work to bring it up to our high standards.

First of all the body was stripped and the car sent 250 miles North to the best TVR fiberglass repair tech with over 35 years TVR knowledge. He removed the inner skin and repaired the rear panel (photos available) to as good as new condition. We then sent the car to our bodyshop for rectification. The paint was originally Reflex Charcoal which is a beautiful colour but prohibitively expensive and as this car was already having plenty of time and money spent on it we decided to repaint it in a more affordable but stunning Pearl Green. (Very similar to the Reflex Charcoal)

It was then into our workshop for a comprehensive recommissioning inc 12K service, fuel hoses, tyres, oil hoses, clutch & slave cyl, wheel alignment etc. The electrical control units were sent away to the resident TVR specialist who carried out thorough checks and updated them with the later modifications. An internal invoice is will be provided with the car showing all works carried out.

We then spent 200 miles de-snagging the car and finishing off the re-commission and I can commit to saying this Tuscan drives as well as any of the best MK 2 Tuscans out there.

15 mnths after the car arrived at Str8Six it is now ready for its next owner.
