1994 PORSCHE 968

The Porsche 968 Sport, emanating form the same production line as the legendary 968 Club Sport the 968 Sport is essentially the same vehicle with the addition of a sun roof, electric windows and kiddy seats in the back. This example from 1994 has been in the same ownership for sixteen years and always garaged. Current mileage is approximately 113,600. The bodywork is finished in Guards Red.

The owner has moved abroad and the car has seen little use over the last few years so needs to be sold.

This Porsche 968 has always been serviced by either Porsche themselves or Porche specialists. There is a box file full of invoices and the cars log book available for inspection.

The car suffered a clutch failure around 90,000 miles and a new clutch was installed.

In 2022 a full service, cambelt and water pump change was undertaken by Northway (Porsche specialists). The wheels have recently been refurbished and body rubbers replaced.

In the current (and it is believed previous) ownership the car has never been taken on a track day but has enjoyed trips to the south of France and Italy. She makes an excellent Grand Tourer having ample space in the back for luggage. Driving across the Alps from Switzerland to Italy was a fabulous experience in this car.

Overall the car is in excellent condition for its age and is a joy to drive. Most of the car's paintwork is original but as the car has spent most of its life under cover the vehicle's appearance is still impressive although not perfect. The have been many admiring comments received over the years. Judge for yourself from the photographs.

The original door mounted loudspeakers were replaced as the cones had disintegrated and the new units were slightly deeper so the speaker grills could not be re-installed but these are supplied withe the car.

Realistically priced this 968 should be a good investment as well as being a joy to own and to drive.
