Lotus S1 Elise Sport 135

Rare special edition Lotus S1 Elise sport 135.

48 of the first 50 cars produced. The Elise Sport 135 was an early special edition of the Series one Elise. Featuring a tuned 135bhp Rover K-series engine with polished and ported head designated with a unique 'Lotus Sport 135' cam cover and motorsport inspired Corbeau seats and interior.

This particular Sport 135 has been owned by a Pistonheads contributor for the last 10+ years and maintained to a high standard. Documented suspension refresh and Nitron NTR damper fitted and recent full C service to include cambelt. Original AWI alloys have be refurbished to silver and a fresh MOT will be carried out at point of sale.

Exterior:

Finished in Quick Silver blue which is unique to the Sport 135, it has a few small blemishes to the doors and rear clam. In good condition for the mileage but could potentially benefit from some paintwork to the front clamshell.

Interior:

Presented with the original Corbeau Lotus Sport seats with red center cushions and 'Elise' script to the head rests. Currently fitted is a Momo Alcantara steering wheel but the original red/black Sport 135 steering wheel is also included.

Chassis side sill covers show very little wear and the dash trim is unmarked.

Mechanical/history:

Fully serviced in October 23' with an annual C service carried out at 88k by ourselves to include: timing belt/ aux belt, spark plugs, air filter and all fluids. Comprehensive service history over the last 10+ years and maintained by ourselves over those years. A full suspension refresh has been carried out with powdercoated wishbones and Nitron NTR 40 dampers fitted. Other upgrades include Eliseparts Uniball toe link kits, uprated belled discs and Pagid RS brake pads.
