PORSCHE 911 (996) CARRERA 1998

PRICED TO SELL - NO OFFERS. Registered in May 1998, this early 996 has been cared for during my ownership. Having sought and owned several Porsches, I can confidently say that this one stands out as a great example.

This relatively rare 996 boasts unique features, including a sunroof delete, the coveted sports pack with sports seats, LSD, and sports suspension. Complementing its distinctive character are the rare 18" hollow spoke turbo twist wheel option (option code 408).

It has recently been fitted with polybushed fork arms, Bilstein height-adjustable suspension dampers and springs all around, front lower suspension arms recently replaced, and H&R anti-roll bars fitted both front and rear. The centre console has been deleted, offering a cleaner and more spacious interior. It has been properly used in my ownership, with no issues at all. The engine is sweet, and it has been a joy to drive.

Prior to my purchase the car had been in storage with the previous owner for a few years. At the point of purchase the car was serviced and again in June 23 the car was inspected and given a major service (including brake fluid change) by my local Porsche specialist at 113,116 miles. In July, my local specialist replaced the water pump as a precautionary measure as it starting to make a noise. Engine mounts were also replaced in July and a few others minor bits. All wheels fully refurbished in July 23. The car has clearly been looked after over the years and prior to being placed in storage in 2017 has a full-service history, mainly with Paragon. Full service record is available and stamps. The bodywork is in really good condition for the age. The quality of paint is far superior when compared to a Cayman R that I used to have.

Option codes include; 014, 030, 220, 222, 224, 234, 375, 376, 408. In summary, it's a great car and should be used on a regular basis.
