2004 HONDA ACCORD

Here at Rare Imports we are fortunate to be able to offer this 2004 CL7 Accord Euro-R finished in Nighthawk Black metallic and covered a resonable 84,000 miles. This car was originally imported by ourselves in mid-2021 and recently taken back in as a trade in.

The CL7 Accord Euro-R offers the Honda, or any Japanese sports car, enthusiast car to cover both family and fast road driving duties! Featuring the same JDM specification 220bhp K20 engine and slick 6 speed gearbox found in the DC5 Integra provides an immersive driving experience lacking in many cars now. The factory fitted LSD only helps with this further.

Honda knowing this car would be used for broader duties made some successful modifications to make the car easier to live with. Namely a revised inlet manifold for more low down torque and altered 5th and 6th gear ratios for more relaxing cruising. Extra sound deadening was also fitted to reduce interior noise.

The interior is as practical as any other Accord with handy features such as dual zone climate control, ISOFIX points and folding rear seats. The standard fit Recaro front seats however remind you this is no normal Accord!

This particular car was imported by ouselves in mid-2021 for a private import customer. It was chosen for its overall good condtiion, extrerior grade 3.5 and interior B. (Auction sheet available upon request) The car also features rare and desirable Mugen optional grille and rear wing. The paintwork is generally in good condition with some minor marks blemishes, wheels have recently been refurbushed with new Honda centre caps and 100% mark free. The interior in particular is very clean on this example with unmarked plastics and little wear. Both Recaro seats are also in great condition, these usually are prone to excessive wear or collapsed bolsters.

The car starts and runs perfectly with no noises from the engine or gearbox. This engine feels particularly strong pulling hard and engaging into VTEC as it should. A new clutch was fitted when we originally imported the car and the gearshift in general is smooth with no issues. Suspension also feels tight with no knocking noises The previous owner recently fitted brand new TEIN adjustable coilovers which are perfectly comfortable but can be adjusted if desired. This car has no symptoms of driveshaft failure, a common problem on CL7 Euro-R's which leads to vibration under acceleration often mistaken for front wheel balancing.
