It is lower and lighter than its predecessor, thanks to carbon fibre, with lines resulting from a symbiotic relationship between aerodynamics and design. The call of its engine is unmistakable, and is lent even greater clarity and power through dedicated resonators located in the intake ducts. At a claimed 1350kg it weighs 85kg less than the regular F430 thanks to a wide-ranging weight reduction programme that includes hollow anti-roll bars and titanium road springs, lightweight bumpers, a Lexan rear screen and, inside, reduced sound-deadening and extensive use of carbonfibre, notably for the door casings and seat shells. The increased power of the 430 Scuderia comes from a revised intake, exhaust, and an ion-sensing knock-detection system allowing for a higher compression ratio. In addition to its weight-saving measures, the six-speed semi-automatic gearbox has gained improved ''Superfast'' (known as ''Superfast2''), a software for faster 60 millisecond shifting times. A new traction control system is combined with the F1-Trac traction and stability control with the E-Diff electronic differential. The Ferrari 430 Scuderia gives an amazing experience.
