The 22B is based on the Impreza WRX STi, but features several enhancements to make it more powerful and performance-oriented. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.2-liter flat-four engine, which produces 276 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission and Subaru's legendary symmetrical all-wheel drive system. In terms of styling, the 22B features a wider body kit with flared wheel arches, a large rear wing, and unique 17-inch gold alloy wheels. It also has a hood scoop and vents for improved cooling. Inside, the 22B has sport seats, a Momo steering wheel, and special 22B badging. Only 400 units of the Subaru Impreza 22B were ever produced, making it a highly sought-after collector's car.
