A very usable classic car, in absolutely pristine condition.This Example has been maintained thoroughly throughout its life, documented very well back through its history with service invoices, various MOTs and tax discs dating back to the early 80s. All recent major works have been carried out by Grahame Hunt and is presented in fantastic condition both mechanically cosmetically.This reliability stands to reason really for the engineers in Mercedes created a new power unit which enjoyed an over-square combustion chamber, providing more of the useful torque and ability to spin freely up to the redline of 6.500rpm. They also chose aluminium alloy cylinder heads and Bosch electronic fuel injection, as well as transistorised ignition so she was 'top of the pops' technology giving more than ample mid range torque, making for super overtaking performance.
