1979 FERRARI 308

Finished in Rosso Corsa with Crema Hide this stunning 1979 carburettor GTS was subject to a full restoration in 2011. The car was purchased by its current owner in 2012 and was taken off the road in 2014. Since then the car has been part of a small collection and kept in a heated garage. The car will come with a new 12 month MOT and a full service and cambelts changed by marque specialist QV Windsor at the advertised price. The previous owner to my client had owned the car for 19 years prior and during his ownership the car has received a full mechanical and body restoration and has covered just 1,999 miles during that period. The work was entrusted to Lamborghini specialists Cordwallis (who were also known as Lamborghini High Wycombe Service). The previous owner had confirmed that the body was already in very good condition, however it was stripped to bare metal and any body parts that were needed were replaced. It then received a full rebuild of the suspension and brakes. The engine and gearbox were stripped down and rebuilt replacing any parts needed. Inside, carpets were replaced and new leather seats fitted. A print out of the receipts are supplied for the work and parts. Since completion it has been Carcoon stored between its bouts of gentle exercise and comes with the last 15 MOTs. The total mileage is 54,070 miles, however a change of speedometer occurred at 37,415 miles, the current mileage now showing 16,655 miles. Fitted with optional air conditioning, a deep spoiler and sports exhaust, additional aftermarket accessories include a Tracker, Vecta immobiliser and an Alpine sound system. It comes complete with the original wallet, handbook and service book. This 308 has been comprehensively and professionally restored to a high standard and is ready to provide its new owner with many miles of exhilarating Ferrari motoring.
