1967 Porsche

LHD Karmann built 1967 Porsche 912 SWB coupe. Irish green 6606

VIN 462296, Engine number 754834. 5 dial, 5 speed.

Bought in 2013 as running, driving example that’s currently an ongoing full restoration project at a stage where it can now be sprayed and put back together. As with any restoration there are still jobs to do and parts to buy/replace/refurbish as required and depending how detailed you want to be but much already has been taken care of up to this stage.

Full history file including original service booklet and owners manual as well as a thick history file covering the vast amount of its life whilst in the USA and before coming to the UK.

Porsche certificate of authenticity confirming matching numbers and from the extensive history file it would appear to have had an engine rebuild to 1750cc.

Significant investment and bodywork preparation has been done exclusively by multi award winning Trailer Queen restorations. There were no corners cut as every intention was to prepare the shell to show winning standard which is TQR's default process. Costs alone to bring the shell up to pre paint stage is around £20,000 with significant other work completed with many new and refurbished parts including the running gear which has been stripped, powder coated and rebuilt with bills and costs to date in excess of the asking price.
