This is a very versatile wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) which carries 1 wheelchair passenger travelling in their wheelchair in the rear passenger position, together with their driver, 1 or 2 additional front seat passengers, and 1-2 additional passengers in rear seating. Access is via a rear tail-lift at the rear. There is also a powered side step to the rear saloon on the near-side to assist other ambulant passengers. The wheelchair is restrained in the vehicle with a fully-tested wheelchair securing system and the wheelchair passenger has their own tested seatbelt. There is plenty of room in this vehicle for a long or wide wheelchair or for travelling in the wheelchair in a reclined position. All our WAVs are fully type-approved and manufactured in the UK by approved WAV conversion companies. Each vehicle comes fully prepared from Fleximobility with an MOT, thorough service and new cambelt (if due within 8 months).
