AC Ace Aceca
Having undergone a recent mechanical overhaul, consisting of, but not limited to the following, chassis number 4 drives as well as any 50's GT car could ever hope to: Suspension rebuilt with uprated Spax shock absorbers Full engine rebuild Brakes refreshed Diff rebuilt Half-shafts rebuilt New diff bushes Carbs rebuilt New starter motor Rolling road tuned With nearly £40k spent since 2018, almost no stone has been left unturned in getting this Aceca into wonderful running and driving condition. Like a lot of AC's this car had its original Weller / Bristol engine replaced with the Ford Zephyr inline six, running on triple Webers, to create a much more easily tuneable, more wallet friendly and easily serviceable powerplant, without disturbing the natural weight balance or taking away the straight six soundtrack. The history file is rich and details the cars past beautifully, with the car and its owners mentioned in Autosport on May the 18th of 1956, Pit and Paddock in April, among others. It has been looked after by AC specialists most of its life and most recently by the likes of RW Racing Services Ltd. Redline Engineering and IN Racing Limited of Nottingham. In preparation for sale, HPC Classics have detailed the car, changed the gearbox oil and had the engine tuned fully by Jon Wood on the rolling road, to make sure that the new owner gets maximum enjoyment from this stunning car. If you're in the market for an Aceca, this well priced, beautifully presented and driving car has to be top of the list.
